Design

After a cinematic intro showing our slot hero venturing further into the jungle, the game starts. The slot is played on a 6x6 grid.

As the name suggests, the slot is centred around temples. Cambodia is world-famous for the Angkor Wat temple complex, and while Temple Tumble isn’t explicitly set in those surroundings it bears a striking resemblance. The landscape in the background is filled with trees and massive statues, and the playing area is inside some ancient temple structure.

The game symbols consist of colourful playing card symbols, gemstones in various colours and Southeast Asian symbols. The unnamed hero from the opening sequence acts as the game’s Wild symbol.

Gameplay

This slot utilises what Tumbling reels. It’s a similar concept found in Avalanche slots such as the popular NetEnt game Gonzo’s Quest). This means that the symbols fall from over the playing area, and symbols forming part of winning combinations are removed from the screen.

Megaways

The Megaways™ mechanics is a popular feature developed and trademarked by Big Time Gaming (and licensed to Relax Gaming for this slot). The Megaways™ engine, made famous in Bonanza, ensures that the number of symbols on a spin is contantly changing. In Bonanza, this is possible by symbols varying in size, giving anything between 2 and 7 symbols on one reel on every spin. In Temple Tumble, every spin will throw up a different number of symbols and stone blocks, resulting in a total of maximum 46,656 Megaways™ to win.

This is the maximum number of ways to win, and this number will change with each spin. Some spins will have several symbol slots and fewer stone blocks, while others will have more stone blocks. The objective is to form winning combinations using the determined win patterns of the slot. Every time a winning combination is formed, the symbols forming part of it are removed from the playing area and replaced by new ones. Each stone block adjacent to a winning combination will also explode, and the open spot will be filled with a new symbol.

Clearing all stone blocks from the playing area will activate the Free Spins round.

After clearing the playing area of all stone blocks, you are awarded 6 Free Spins on Temple Tumble Megaways. This bonus round has three different levels, where special blocks carry different bonus features:
