Play 9 Skulls of Gold in Canada

9 Skulls of Gold combines a five-reel pirate slot with two different ways of evaluating a result. Regular character, seven and Wild combinations use 20 fixed paylines, while skull symbols operate through a separate Firepot table that counts them anywhere on the screen. Buck Stakes Entertainment developed the Microgaming release, which reached wide distribution on 5 October 2022.

9 Skulls of Gold Game Overview

9 Skulls of Gold presents 5 reels and 3 rows against a pirate-treasure setting. Line wins begin on reel 1, whereas 3 to 9 Firepot skulls can award Spins or fixed prizes without following one of the 20 paylines.

9 Skulls of Gold connects its bonus sequence to three Scatters appearing on reels 2, 3 and 4. That combination opens a Bonus Wheel for 10 to 30 Free Spins and a 2x or 3x multiplier, with Golden Scatters and retriggers able to extend the round.

9 Skulls of Gold carries high volatility at 8/10 and an available demo. The Firepot awards are fixed multiples tied to the stake, not values from a progressive network pool. Players should use the loaded game’s information screen to verify the current mathematical setup because configurations can differ by market.

How Does 9 Skulls of Gold Work?

9 Skulls of Gold pays ordinary matching combinations from left to right across fixed lines. The Wild can replace standard paying icons and has its own award, but it does not replace either Firepot skulls or Scatters.

9 Skulls of Gold then checks the same stopped layout for skull counts and feature triggers. Every spin is randomly generated, so the amount selected, the time of play and the sequence of earlier results cannot control what appears next.

9 Skulls of Gold Spins Feature

9 Skulls of Gold can grant Spins from specified low-symbol, high-symbol or Firepot combinations. These awards are added to a Spin Balance and resolve without deducting another cash wager for each awarded turn.

9 Skulls of Gold applies its normal game rules while the Spin Balance plays out. Extra Spins increase the number of random results evaluated, but they do not ensure a winning line, a Firepot prize or entry to the main bonus.

9 Skulls of Gold Firepot Prizes

9 Skulls of Gold places Firepot skulls on all five reels and counts them across the entire 5x3 view. Three or four skulls award Spins in the base game, while five or more deliver fixed cash multiples that rise to 2,000x the stake for nine skulls.

9 Skulls of Gold uses cash values for 3 or more skulls during Free Spins instead of the base-game Spin awards. The Firepot table works outside the payline system, although the landing positions and total number of skulls are still determined randomly.

9 Skulls of Gold Bonus Wheel

9 Skulls of Gold opens the Bonus Wheel when all three Scatters land on the middle reels. The single wheel result establishes an initial award of 10 to 30 Free Spins and a multiplier of 2x or 3x.

9 Skulls of Gold multiplies regular line wins during the bonus but excludes Firepot awards from that modifier. Wheel segments cannot be selected manually, and changing the wager does not guarantee the largest spin count or multiplier.

9 Skulls of Gold Free Spins

9 Skulls of Gold starts the feature under the conditions chosen by the Bonus Wheel. The Golden Scatter Chest can contribute up to 5 additional Free Spins, while another set of three middle-reel Scatters retriggers the original wheel-awarded number of spins.

9 Skulls of Gold retains the triggering stake and lines for the feature. A retrigger or chest addition can lengthen the round, but neither changes the fact that each outcome is random and no particular total return is assured.

9 Skulls of Gold Volatility

9 Skulls of Gold has an 8/10 Wildz volatility score, classified as high. This rating indicates a more uneven pattern of results and potentially wider short-term changes in balance than a game in a lower band.

9 Skulls of Gold does not use volatility as a countdown to a win. Past outcomes, alternating bet sizes and pauses between spins cannot make the next Firepot or Free Spins event more predictable.

9 Skulls of Gold Maximum Win

9 Skulls of Gold awards 2,000x the stake when all nine Firepot positions are filled with skulls. A $1 stake would make that specified Firepot value $2,000 before any account or operator limits are considered.

9 Skulls of Gold treats the 2,000x amount as a fixed multiplier rather than a growing jackpot. It does not build from unsuccessful spins, and reaching lower skull tiers does not move a player closer to the nine-skull result.

How to Play 9 Skulls of Gold in Canada

9 Skulls of Gold begins with a review of the paytable and a stake selection within the controls provided. Starting a spin produces one random reel layout, which is checked for line combinations, Firepot counts, Spin awards and the three-Scatter trigger.

9 Skulls of Gold real-money access depends on the rules applying in the player’s province or territory and on the operator’s terms. Players must meet the applicable legal age, complete required verification and use deposit or session limits suited to their circumstances.

Can You Play 9 Skulls of Gold on Mobile?

Yes, 9 Skulls of Gold appears in the Wildz desktop and mobile catalogues. Its mobile build preserves the 20 paylines, Firepot table, Spins Feature, Bonus Wheel and Free Spins mechanics on supported phones and tablets.

9 Skulls of Gold requires a compatible browser and a stable connection for normal operation. Device choice changes the display and controls, not the random probabilities attached to the symbols or bonus features.

Can You Play 9 Skulls of Gold for Free?

Yes, 9 Skulls of Gold has a Wildz demo using virtual credits. The mode allows the line rules, skull awards, Bonus Wheel and retriggers to be inspected without staking cash or receiving withdrawable prizes.

9 Skulls of Gold demo results have no predictive value for real-money play. Each later spin is generated independently, and a feature appearing frequently in a short trial does not establish a pattern for another session.

9 Skulls of Gold in Canada

9 Skulls of Gold can be considered only where the relevant provincial or territorial rules and the chosen operator’s conditions permit online play. Gambling regulation is provincial, so minimum ages and market structures are not uniform across Canada.

9 Skulls of Gold players should verify the legal framework, account requirements and responsible-gambling controls that apply where they are located. A game listing does not replace identity checks, age requirements or the terms imposed by an operator.

Canadian Rules for 9 Skulls of Gold

9 Skulls of Gold falls within provincial rather than one national online casino licensing system. Alberta’s regulated private iGaming market launched on 13 July 2026, with AGLC responsible for regulatory oversight and the Alberta iGaming Corporation handling commercial agreements.

9 Skulls of Gold players elsewhere face different structures. Ontario operates a regulated market through AGCO and iGaming Ontario, while legal gambling ages across Canada are generally 18 or 19, depending on the province or territory.
