Wild Nords

Wild Nords is a 5-reel, 3-row, 20-pay line video slot featuring bidirectional gameplay, 4 re-spin games, and 3 different Wild symbols.

Bidirectional Gameplay

In Wild Nords, wins can occur from both the left and right directions. Most video slots require winning pay lines to begin in the leftmost reel. In this title, pay lines beginning from the rightmost reel count as well. This means that Wild symbols in reels 4 & 5, rather than being just out of reach as they are in most video slots, become important pieces of winning combinations. Combinations spanning 5 reels will receive a 2x multiplier, as the win will be calculated from both sides of the reels.

Respin Features

At any time during the game, 1 of 4 respin features can be activated. If the character appears next to the reels, they will add Wild symbols to the reels.

If 1 of the 4 characters appears on the reels, they will transform their feature symbol into a Wild and trigger a respin. If one or more identical symbols land, they will also transform to Wilds and stick to the playing area while another respin is triggered. Respins will continue until no additional matching symbols fall on the reels.

• Bjorn: Nord of the Bears – When Bjorn appears on the screen, he transforms all instances of Bear symbols into Wilds.

• Rolf: Nord of the Wolves – Rolf transforms all Wolf symbols into Wilds.

• Astrid: Nord of the Eagles – Astrid transforms all Eagle symbols into Wilds.

Nord Animals – This respin is a bit different in that it doesn’t transform symbols into Wilds. Instead, this feature selects high-value animal symbols and locks them onto the reels. A respin is triggered, and further instances of these animal symbols will stick in place and generate another respin. As with the other features, respins continue until one occurs where the necessary symbol does not land.
