It’s that time again as the best College Basketball teams collide at March Madness 2026! Join us at Wildz Sports as the quest for Basketball supremacy begins on the Hardwood.
It wouldn’t be March Madness without a little Canadian flavor. Indeed, notable players such as Kyle Wiltjer (Kentucky), Steve Nash (Santa Clara) and RJ Barrett (Duke) have all graced College Basketball’s ultimate competition in the past.
This year, look out for Toronto-born Xaivian Lee and his Florida Gators (+800) to make a splash. Boasting an elite frontcourt, the reigning national champions look set to cut down the nets again. And with Lee and partner Boogie Fland patrolling backcourt, “the Natty” could be heading back to “the Swamp”.
If Xaivian Lee’s Gators don’t repeat as champions, it will probably be because of the UConn Huskies (+1600). Despite some inconsistent form, the Huskies and the Hoops nerds at Wildz Sports, think their recent 72-40 dismantling of St. John’s on February 25th is a reason for real optimism.
Despite the Virginia Cavaliers’ (+8900) long odds and recent 26-point loss to Duke, they’ve been one of the best teams in the country since the turn of the year. Along the way, they’ve beaten North Carolina State twice, as well as Louisville and Miami.
Elsewhere, the Iowa State Cyclones (+2200) and Kansas Jayhawks (+3400) could be well-placed if March Madness’ “win or go home” format delivers some shocks early on.
There’s 68 teams in total and 67 games, all packed into just a few weeks.
Additionally, all the action takes place at 14 different locations culminating with the Championship Game in Indianapolis.
At March Madness, there’s no tomorrow if you don’t bring your A-game. You snooze, you lose and all losers leave the Bracket. “Still following?” “Great!” Here are the key dates:
