Fans from all participating countries, i.e. the finalists, can vote over the phone, by text or via the Eurovision app. However, voters are unable to select their own country’s entry. The public votes (Tele Vote) make up 50% of the total vote, with the other half determined by a professional jury (Jury Vote) in each participating country.
After viewers have cast their votes, a national spokesperson from each of the participating countries will reveal the points of their professional jury, ranging from a maximum of 12 points to a minimum of zero “nul” points.
Once the presentation of the scores from the juries is over, the public points from all participating countries will be combined, providing one score for each song. The country at the top of the scoreboard will be declared the 2025 winner. But in the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be the highest scores from the audiences and the non-participating countries.
