Play Safari Sun in New Zealand

Safari Sun centres its pokies action on symbols that can expand across the three middle reels. Released by Fantasma Games on 24 August 2023, the title uses 576 ways to win before changing to a six-reel bonus format. Five animal selections let the player choose between 4 and 20 Free Spins with different volatility profiles.

Safari Sun Game Overview

Safari Sun displays five variable-height reels in a 3-4-4-4-3 arrangement. The base game calculates wins through 576 ways, and selected paying symbols can carry a Sun mark on reels 2, 3 and 4. A marked symbol fills its reel when that expansion forms part of a win.

Safari Sun adds a reel during Free Spins and becomes a 3-4-4-4-4-3 game. The bonus begins with a choice of Lion, Rhino, Baboon, Meerkat or Toucan, each linked to an exact number of spins. This is a choice between programmed pokies formats rather than a method for choosing a winning outcome.

How Does Safari Sun Work?

Safari Sun pays combinations made from matching symbols on successive reels from the left. Variable reel heights produce the 576 ways rather than a fixed set of paylines. After the initial reel stop, the game checks for Sun expansions and any triggered bonus event.

Safari Sun uses an African mask as the Bonus Scatter and does not rely on a normal wild symbol. Three scatters across the central reels lead to the feature-selection screen. Each pokies round is random and independent, so previous outcomes do not make a symbol or feature due.

Safari Sun Expanding Symbol Feature

Safari Sun may attach a Sun frame to a paying symbol on reels 2, 3 or 4. The framed symbol expands over its full reel when the expansion creates or contributes to a valid win. Two or more marked symbols can occur in the same round.

Safari Sun keeps the selection of marked symbols outside player control. The expansion is conditional and will not occur merely because a Sun frame is visible. A larger stake raises the amount committed to the round without improving control over the feature.

Safari Sun Mystery Sun Feature

Safari Sun can trigger Mystery Sun without a separate scatter combination. When it appears, the feature chooses 1 to 3 symbols on the middle reels, marks them and expands them. The event guarantees a winning spin under its programmed rules.

Safari Sun activates Mystery Sun randomly, so there is no button or betting sequence that calls it. The value of the resulting win still depends on the symbols and reel arrangement. Several rounds without Mystery Sun do not force it to appear later.

Safari Sun Free Spins

Safari Sun opens Free Spins when three Bonus Scatters land on reels 2, 3 and 4. Lion provides 4 spins, Rhino 8, Baboon 12, Meerkat 16 and Toucan 20. The Lion end uses fewer, higher-volatility spins, while the Toucan end uses more spins at the lower-volatility side of the menu.

Safari Sun expands the bonus to six reels in a 3-4-4-4-4-3 configuration. The selected animal stays as the premium animal symbol and card ranks make up the remaining standard symbols. The initial choice changes the number of free rounds but cannot assure a return greater than the original wagering cost.

Safari Sun Volatility

Safari Sun is rated high at 7/10 by Wildz. High volatility means winning results can arrive unevenly, with smaller or absent returns between less frequent stronger outcomes.

Safari Sun extends the volatility theme into the Free Spins selection. The animal menu changes the concentration and number of rounds within the bonus. It does not remove chance or make any of the five options consistently profitable.

Safari Sun Maximum Win

Safari Sun is presented without a numeric maximum-win statement here because reliable public references conflict. Players can find the ceiling applying to the loaded build in its own paytable or help information.

Safari Sun uses that figure as a technical payout cap, not as a typical result. Neither the Mystery Sun guarantee nor the Free Spins menu makes the maximum likely. Pokies outcomes cannot be forced through timing or stake progression.

How to Play Safari Sun in New Zealand

Safari Sun starts after the player opens the title, reviews the rules and chooses an available wager. Pressing spin commits that stake to one game cycle, with wins and features calculated from the random reel result. The paytable should be checked before real-money play.

Safari Sun offers a 50x stake Bonus Buy only where the active game and local rules permit it. Buying entry skips the normal scatter trigger but does not make the bonus outcome predictable. Players should use deposit, spend and time controls that match affordable entertainment limits.

Can You Play Safari Sun on Mobile?

Yes, Safari Sun is included in the Wildz mobile catalogue as well as the desktop list. The changing reel heights, expanding Sun symbols and animal-choice Free Spins are supported on compatible smartphones and tablets.

Safari Sun can usually run through a supported browser without a separate pokies download. Screen size does not alter the random mathematics or volatility score. Device software and connection quality can still affect loading and display performance.

Can You Play Safari Sun for Free?

Yes, Safari Sun has a Wildz demo mode using virtual credits. It allows the reel structure, 576 ways, Sun expansions and selectable Free Spins to be inspected without staking real money.

Safari Sun demo prizes cannot be withdrawn and have no monetary value. Demo rounds are generated independently and do not reveal what a later paid round will do. The mode is useful for understanding the interface rather than testing a winning system.
