Play Wheel of Wishes in New Zealand

Wheel of Wishes turns two scatter symbols into a specialised Power Spin built around a 3x3 centre-reel display. Alchemy Gaming released this Arabian-themed online pokie on 11 February 2020, using 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 fixed paylines. Wildz lists the game with low volatility of 2/10.

Wheel of Wishes Game Overview

Wheel of Wishes keeps regular pokies action on a small set of fixed lines, supported by stacked wild symbols. Lamps and treasure objects establish the desert-fantasy theme, while wins run from the first reel through adjacent positions.

Wheel of Wishes shifts away from the standard grid when its principal feature starts. Identical high-paying symbols occupy the outer reels and one colossal symbol covers the three central reels, creating the possible entrance to the progressive wheel.

How Does Wheel of Wishes Work?

Wheel of Wishes evaluates symbol matches across 10 fixed paylines after one paid spin is initiated. A line win must begin on the left and continue through neighbouring reels according to the combinations listed in the paytable.

Wheel of Wishes completes feature events within the random cycle that triggered them. No sequence of losses, wins or manual spin timings provides information about the symbols that will be selected next.

Wheel of Wishes Power Spins

Wheel of Wishes starts a Power Spin when at least 2 wheel scatters land in the base game. The first and fifth reels become the same stacked premium symbol, and a giant 3x3 icon occupies reels two, three and four.

Wheel of Wishes can show ordinary premium imagery or the required jackpot wheel in that large central space. The modified setup creates the feature opportunity, but the full wheel symbol remains a random outcome rather than a guaranteed part of every Power Spin.

Wheel of Wishes Jackpot Bonus Wheel

Wheel of Wishes launches the Jackpot Bonus Wheel after its bonus-wheel image fully covers the centre reels during a Power Spin. The resulting wheel awards one progressive prize from the Mini, Minor, Major and WowPot levels.

Wheel of Wishes draws these amounts from a connected jackpot network whose displayed totals change over time. Each wheel decision is made by the programmed game event, so a rising total does not mean that any particular account or spin is closer to winning it.

Wheel of Wishes Power Mode

Wheel of Wishes includes an optional Power Mode in jurisdictions and operator configurations that allow it. The setting applies Power Spin conditions to each paid cycle for 10x the normal stake.

Wheel of Wishes Power Mode therefore changes both the cost and the reel format of the cycle. It does not let the player choose the centre symbol, control the progressive wheel or increase certainty about the final return.

Wheel of Wishes Volatility

Wheel of Wishes carries a 2/10 volatility score in the Wildz catalogue, which places it in the low band. The score concerns the pattern of ordinary returns, while the network jackpot provides a distinct upper prize route.

Wheel of Wishes does not become predictable because its volatility is low. A quiet run can continue without a win, and stake changes do not compel the random generator to balance earlier results.

Wheel of Wishes Maximum Win

Wheel of Wishes has a base-game ceiling of 500x the stake, excluding all progressive prizes. Jackpot values are shown separately because the network pools rise and reset rather than remaining fixed multiples.

Wheel of Wishes was the game on which a €38,461,200.95 WowPot was won on 20 December 2023. Games Global announced the record result in January 2024, but that past award provides no forecast for the size or timing of a future jackpot.

How to Play Wheel of Wishes in New Zealand

Wheel of Wishes play starts with a review of the paytable and a check of the total amount displayed beside the spin control. The player then begins one cycle, allowing standard line wins, a Power Spin and any jackpot-wheel result to resolve before making another decision.

Wheel of Wishes players should set spending and time limits before using real money, with extra attention to the 10x Power Mode cost. The active operator’s identity requirements and safer-gambling controls apply alongside the rules shown within the pokie.

Can You Play Wheel of Wishes on Mobile?

Yes, Wheel of Wishes is designed for compatible smartphones and tablets. The mobile version keeps the 5x3 reels, 10 fixed lines, Power Spins and four-tier progressive wheel used on desktop.

Wheel of Wishes controls adapt to the available screen, although browser and connection quality can affect loading. Those technical conditions do not alter the probability of a line win, colossal wheel symbol or jackpot tier.

Wheel of Wishes in New Zealand

Wheel of Wishes sits within a changing online casino framework following the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026, which came into force on 1 May 2026. The Department of Internal Affairs is implementing the regime, with full licensing expected during 2027.

Wheel of Wishes players must be 18 or older for online casino gambling under the new framework. Operators that served the market before 1 May 2026 may continue through the transitional period until 1 December 2026, subject to the Act’s conditions.

New Zealand Rules for Wheel of Wishes

Wheel of Wishes real-money play is overseen by the Department of Internal Affairs as the new system is introduced. Up to 15 operators can progress through the licensing process, and providers without an eligible application must cease operating from 1 December 2026.

Wheel of Wishes players should verify the operator, account terms and responsible-gambling controls before depositing. The regulatory timetable changes who may supply online casino games, but it does not alter the slot’s random mechanics.
